Developer
We are looking for a phenomenal developer to work with us over the summer beginning July 1st and lasting at least 10 weeks (and possibly continuing as a full-time employee) on a contract basis to complete the public release of our software. Work can be full-time (preferred) or part-time as appropriate, and is in Cambridge.
We are creating a solution that will help everyday internet users manage the complexity of online interactions. You'll be working with a small and talented team, and will play a significant role in the creation of a new product. Your software will be used thousands of times a day, so it has a) work, and b) look and feel great -- something that you'd tell your parents to use. We are working with browser plug-ins and web applications, implementing new features and new interfaces, so… you should be highly familiar with HTML/CSS/Javascript.
This is a chance to work in a start-up on a funded project with the potential to develop something that will be used every day by millions.
You'll get a chance to:

Required Skills:
- Great software design skills in C and Javascript
- Knows or can learn web application front-end technology (XUL/HTML/CSS/Javascript)
- Have an understanding of browser plug-ins and extensions

- Cares about online privacy and digital rights
